Frequently asked questions

Candidate
Q.  So what makes you better than other Employment agencies?

A.  Whether we are better or not only you can decide, what we are though is passionate about looking after you as an individual, listening to your needs and expectations and helping you achieve your full potential.

Employer
Q.  Isn’t competition between different agencies a good thing?

A. When you are selecting which agency you would like to work with competition is very good as it gives you choice. You need to be confident that the agency you are dealing with can provide the service you need and you can work proactively with them to achieve a successful outcome. However, after that point competition is actually counter productive. This is because if you get agencies to compete they have to try to get you to accept a candidate before someone else does in order to get paid. They will therefore try their best to sell you someone they have got, whether it is really what you want or not.

Candidate
Q.  Will everything I tell you be treated in confidence?

A.  Yes, we take great care to treat all information about you as confidential. As members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) we are bound by their Code of Conduct. We also take the requirements of the Data Protection Act very seriously.

Employer
Q.  Isn’t there a conflict of interests when you say you are totally committed to Candidates?

A.  No, it is true that we are totally committed to Candidates but that is also in your best interest. We ensure the Candidate has the right skills, experience and aptitude to make a real success of the job, in fact we guarantee it, unconditionally and knowing you have the right person for the job can only be good for your business.

Candidate
Q.  Do you expect anything from me?

A.  Yes, we need your commitment, we can help you through the whole process of finding you a good job but we can’t do it all for you. Letting us down, poor timekeeping and bad workmanship is never tolerated by us or the person paying your wages.

Candidate
Q.  Is it OK to register with another agency and what happens if I get a job through them?

A. You are of course free to register with any number of agencies. If you do find a job through another agency that’s great but please let us know.

Employer
Q. You talk about taking a holistic approach to recruitment, what does that mean?

A. We like to look at the whole picture from the point of view of both the Employer the job and the worker to make sure that we achieve the best match. We call that our holistic approach.
